08/09/2022
ISCA and the members of its newly founded Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA) Expert Group are delighted to invite all interested stakeholders to follow their series of three capacity-building webinars from September to December 2022. Registration is now open for the first webinar of this HEPA series, ‘Are sport and physical activity keys to unlocking mental wellbeing?’, which will take place online on 29 September 2022 from 11:30-13:00 CEST.
During this 90-minute webinar we will explore how sport and physical activity can help boost mental wellbeing and may even improve mental health in general. Our experts will challenge you to think differently when it comes to this topic.
All participants will gain exclusive insights into HEPA for mental health and wellbeing from an expert, Dr. Niamh Murphy, senior lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at Waterford Institute of Technology, as well as learning first-hand tips and tricks from an existing practice, ‘ABC for Mental Health’, by Hanna Christensen, Project Leader at DGI. Last but not least, you will have the chance to ask your own questions during the final part of the webinar.
