IDI4SPORT project puts spotlight on inclusion of people with disabilities in sport ahead of Paris Olympics
03/03/2023
The IDI4SPORT project kicked off this week with an ambition to improve accessibility for people with disabilities in and through sport and to include the project in the framework of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
IDI4SPORT is designed to promote social inclusion, increase the participation of children with disabilities in sport and to reduce the difficulties they encounter, creating inclusive environments that foster equity and equality. The project targets teachers, sports trainers and children at primary and secondary schools.
ISCA will support the lead coordinator, France Education International, and partners from North Macedonia, Spain and Portugal in developing a pilot methodology and training pathways to integrate young people with disabilities in sport activities, both in formal and informal settings.
